Effective January 1, 2016, Westside Internal Medicine is no longer able to accept patients who are enrolled in Original Medicare coverage. If you are an established patient and enrolled in Original Medicare prior to January 1, 2016, we will continue to see you and bill Medicare for your services.

While we don’t want to lose you as a patient, all new or established patients who are looking into Medicare coverage after January 1, 2016 are required to enroll in a participating Medicare Advantage plan if you wish to continue seeing your provider at Westside Internal Medicine. Please contact our Business Office to find out which Medicare Advantage plans we accept.

If you have questions about which Medicare Advantage option is best for you, we recommend you contact Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Program (SHIBA). They offer free information to help you make your decision. Their certified volunteers will help you understand what Medicare choice is right for you based on your current medical and prescription needs. We believe that they can help you find an affordable option that allows you to continue to receive care at Westside Internal Medicine.
