Patricia Engle, MD
Dr. Engle is a native of Indiana. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University before completing her medical education at Indiana University. She moved to the Pacific Northwest to complete her internal medicine residency at OHSU. She was briefly employed by a local community hospital, but was drawn to private practice and Westside Internal Medicine in 2009.
She enjoys her career as a primary care physician. She appreciates the opportunity to develop relationships with patients and to work with patients to formulate individualized treatment plans based on their health needs, desires, and expectations. She incorporates evidence based treatment guidelines into these plans.
Dr. Engle has served as the Medical Director at Westside Internal Medicine since 2012. She has championed and sustained multiple quality improvement projects within the practice, with emphasis on transitions between care settings, mental health integration, fall prevention, and health coaching.
She enjoys spending time in the great Oregon outdoors with her husband Shawn and her two dogs (Ivan and Henry).
